What is a stale property?
A stale property is any property that has been on the market for more than 6 months.
Why would I be interested in stale properties?
Stale properties are a good place to go if you are looking for a bargain. If a property has been on the market for more than 6 months the owner will be likely to need sell the property. The agent will be putting pressure on them to drop the price or become more flexible to move the property (rather than go to a different agent). Focusing on stale properties gives you the information that the agents don't want you to have, it gives you the bargaining power.
